Sensei Rafat Razzaque
Sensei Rafat Razzaque, 2nd Dan, has won numerous medals around the world. This includes winning National, European and World championships in Kumite.

Sensei Rafat began his journey aged 9 with Sensei Ian Cuthbert, and has been with him ever since. He attained his 1st Dan at the age of 13 and is currently a 2nd Dan. Rafat’s fondest memory as a child is receiving his shodan. It reinforced the mindset that a clear vision, backed by persistent preparation, can give a tremendous feeling of confidence and personal power resulting in an amazing achievement.

Sensei Rafat believes, as a wise man once said, “no two things have been combined better than knowledge and patience”. Throughout your time in Karate, you will find yourself learning something new every day. It isn’t easy, but it is truly all worthwhile.
